For sometime now gold has been lurking around the home decorating world popping up in design magazines and designer homes. All of a sudden last year or so gold accessories were everywhere. Guess what? They are here to stay. I know, painting a wall or a ceiling gold or even gilded furniture is not for everyone but a touch of gold here and there adds both whimsy and glam. And the good thing is decorating with gold works with every style other than maybe uber modern. Not convinced?
How about adding this faux deer antler from ZGallerie ($45) on top of the books on your coffee table or just displayed by itself on your media console?
Picture these Ming boxes, again from ZGallerie ($50), on a console or foyer table.
Or this World Market gold mirror tray ($30) on your dresser as a catch all of your jewelry next to a vase of fresh flowers.
This Nate Berkus Decorative Oversized Nut Figural from Target ($13) will be at home on either the built-ins/book shelves or the coffee table.
Dress up your fireplace mantel with these Mario Jason Polished Brass Sailboats Sculpture from Etsy ($45).
Add some roses in this gold mercury glass vase ($8 on Amazon) to add instant glam to your coffee table.
Do you decorate with gold? Or is gold too much of glam for ya?
