Hey Vidya,
Thats really nice what you did, I did something like this but I bought white cloth and painted on it directly. Looks like I will gonna use the Spoonflower website more 🙂 Thanks for the link again!
whatsurhomestory says
Thank Shruthi. Isn’t the whole concept so cool. For the first few days after I discovered the site all I could do was marvel at the person who though of the whole concept for the store. It was like, “Why didn’t I think of it?”.
They are making the whole fabric designing concept accessible to everyone. Love them for that.

Vidya,
It looks beautiful. I did an apple print on a white cloth for my kids birthday as a table cloth. I used apple stamp from Michaels and fabric paint. I spent approximately 6 dollars may be.
I guess mine is an easy peasy version 🙂

So u’re not a stay at home mom? You take care of your kids, go to work and yet post almost everyday? Girl you’ve got some time management skills!
whatsurhomestory says
No Aaroohii, I work full time. 🙂 Ya, it is kinda tough and crazy busy. But I like it that way, feel so bored if I don’t have anything to do. Now that the kids are back to school, our schedule is seriously off. So need to work on organizing all the blog stuff during the weekends. Thank U!

this is so very amazing Vidya that I am rendered speechless, one small query how did you get the print from the paper transferred to the fabric?,Did Spoonflower did it for you or how is it, did I miss out something?Would be delighted to know on this more.

Spoonflower will print any image onto fabric as long as you buy a yard of it. Basically they are a company that make custom fabric and you can customize the print based on any image you have. They ship internationally too.
