Happy Valentine’s Day Y’all!

While the bloggy word has been going ga ga over Valentine’s day were you wondering why I haven’t said a word? For good or bad it is one of those holidays that has never fascinated me.  I think, Valentine’s day in today’s world is sadly way too over hyped and marketed. I guess most of the holidays in the US are but this one especially I have a hard time buying into.  I know I’m gonna break some true believer’s hearts here but  to me, I would rather be treated special everyday than just one day (whether I get treated like that or not is a totally different story ).  Shower me with flowers any day and I’ll be super happy but on Valentines I would be more inclined to think what a waste of money it is to buy flowers when they cost twice or thrice more (total rip off, I tell ya).

Anyways, since it is the day of professing love I was going to let you in on my latest crush.

But I’m not really feeling up to it tonight (I’m writing this on 13th night). Was working from home today (on a really really busy work day) while taking care of a sick kid and battling the stomach bug. So that will have to wait till next week. Hope to back in full form tomorrow to take ya on a window shopping trip.
